Brian Purdey – Mananging Director

Brian is an innovative thought leader, business strategist and change management practitioner with an international reputation for creative leadership in the facility management sector.
A sought after advisor on how to improve human performance in buildings, he has consulted widely in the public and private sectors. He has written and presented numerous papers on this subject, is joint editor of the book “Facilities Economics in Australia”, member of the Governing Board and International Editor for the International Journal of Facilities Management.
Brian is a past National Chairman and Life Member of the Facility Management Association of Australia (FMA) and a member of their Strategic Advisory Group.
He is a member of the Academic Advisory Board in the School of Architecture and Building at Deakin University and a member of the Academic Advisory Committee for Building at the University of Technology in Sydney.
He also teaches in the Post Graduate Facility Management program at the University of Sydney and the Graduate Certificate in Asset and Facilities Management program at Bond University where he is Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Business Technology and Sustainable Development.
Brian recently completed his PhD thesis on the impact of workspace density on the viability and performance of workgroup in the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Planning at the University of Sydney.

Nick is a Chartered Builder with extensive experience in facilities management and maintenance. Nick successfully combines his practical building experience and consulting skills and has managed projects for diverse government and private sector clients in Australia and SE Asia.
Nick works closely with major corporate clients focused on risk management, workplace health and safety, compliance auditing and risk management systems planning, and facility project delivery. He is a Certified Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems Auditor and specialist contributor to “Facilities Economics in Australia”.

Malcolm Harrild has considerable experience in facilities management in the international computer industry, banking and property investment sectors in Australia. His broad background includes change management, project control of relocations and fit-outs, strategic property and accommodation analysis, space planning, workplace design, and facility management outsourcing, covering also distribution centres, retail, call centres and offices.
Malcolm is actively involved in the professional development of facilities managers as an Assessor/Mentor and is a past recipient of a Financial Times Architecture at Work Award.

Stuart Dredge began his career in sales, becoming a dual national award winner for 3M, before working in global consumer goods organizations. In 1981 he founded Intek Group, which grew into a highly successful manpower, training and sales performance practice until its acquisition by KPMG in 2000.
Stuart is pioneering sales process best practice research in collaboration with Southern Cross University and continues to deliver sales performance projects for major corporations in the banking, finance, FMCG, CRM, wholesale and automotives sectors.
Alan Holroyd

Alan began his career in banking and finance in England before switching to the hospitality industry, gaining experience in the hotel bars and nightclub sector before joining the high class “Pack Horse Hotel” in London. Alan’s experience now includes premier Australian hotels and restaurants, and in 2001 joined the team at Regency International Centre, subsequently helping to establish teaching programmes for the Centre’s Overseas Partner Schools.
With more than 20 years in the Industry, Alan is highly respected and experienced in all facets of Hospitality Management. He specialises in hotel operations and human resources management and teaching food and beverage management.
Dr Kang Kok Hin

Dr Kang’s background covers the whole spectrum of Facility Management service delivery including energy, building services, planned, preventive, condition based and predictive maintenance of buildings, equipment and installations and strategic management techniques. He is experienced in the development and ongoing operational management of multi-million dollar mixed-use property developments, (residential, institutional, shopping malls, industrial townships) including in India and China setting up. He is experienced in implementing BS 5750/ISO 9000 accredited QA and TQM systems, and combines a strong building science background with practical facilities management experience.

He has considerable experience in talent acquisition and management, having also designed and delivered training programs for management and executive professional development to increase sales performance, customer service delivery and client interaction.
Amado Devilla

Amado has extensive international experience in the property, real estate and trading sectors including the Philippines, Indonesia and Kuwait, with responsibility for business research and development, project packaging, marketing and sales. More recently he has been involved in the design, development and delivery of facility management education and the marketing of vocational education within the Asia-pacific region, including representation for a number of recognised academic institutions.
